F&S Spec 1/2" Headstud Kit - 4g63 Evo and 7 bolt DSM
Sometimes the only way to fix a problem is to do it yourself, and that is exactly what we did. We got tired of crushing the cylinder head on our cars because of improperly sized washers, and paying 300+ dollars for a set of head studs that don't offer the best options in strength.
Our kit includes:
-(10) 1/2" 8740 Head Studs (a 10% yield gain over the 11mm 625 stud)
-(10) Insert washers that can be machined to fit into the cylinder head to ensure proper load dispersion across the surface to avoid crushing the aluminum in the stud area.
-(10) Standard washers to place beneath the nut.
-(10) 12 point nuts.
*Machine work and gasket modification will be necessary for this kit however, the benefits of this kit far outweigh the work and effort needed to get these into your motor.
